Apomo District is a unique take on Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing

Explore a world that changes every real life day where you’ll hunt weird monsters called Apomo. Catch fish to get buffs, collect bugs to cast spells, and find gear to fit your play style.

The core features of Apomo District

Fight huge bosses called Apomo

The final game will feature over 50 main bosses and more than 20 minibosses. Each boss is designed with a unique set of attacks, a variety of status effects, a dynamic difficulty system, and some delightfully strange lore.

Create and upgrade your build

The final game will feature 18 distinct weapons, each offering a unique playstyle. In addition to weapons, there are over 80 pins—items that modify and customize your build. All of your equipment can be upgraded throughout the game to enhance your abilities and adapt to different challenges.

Catch Bugs & Fish

The final game will include over 80 fish and more than 80 bugs—plus an additional 80 of each when rarities are counted. Catching them is deeply integrated into the core gameplay loop; it’s not just a fun mini-game. Every fish you catch grants a potential buff, and every bug becomes a spell the player can cast.

Quests and secrets

Uncover the storylines of bosses and NPCs through deep, hidden quests. Each day centers around a new quest, secret levels, and temporary upgrades or equipment.

Bosses, weather, characters, quests & secrets change every real life day

Each day, you wake up in the world and attempt to defeat that day's final boss. Complete character quests, uncover secrets, and progress through a carefully designed experience. Note: This is not a roguelike. Each day is handcrafted and playtested. Our goal is to deliver 30 unique days of gameplay—not including holidays.

Endlessly replayable

With over 30 days of unique content, we’re aiming for each day to offer 2–4 hours of gameplay—making a full playthrough around 60 hours. But that’s just the beginning. You can collect every fish and bug, build permanent structures in the world, upgrade your gear, and unlock new colors and skins.
